Theme: Her Perspective
"An exhibition of works by women is bound to be a lot of things, we are naturally so much more than a gendered prescription. And that’s really the point. In this show you’ll find a multitude of perspectives and approaches.There are abstract paintings and others that are rooted in realism, some will be minimal, and others dense with symbolism. It’s no secret that works by women are under-represented in museums around the world, but we can start to turn the tide by supporting female artists in our community and raising awareness of their incredible skill, ingenuity, and vision."
