Nature Beings
In the spring of 2009 I was beachcombing on Mayne Island, British Columbia when I stopped in my tracks. There sitting in the sand was 'Rock Man', the Stone Being pictured above.
That day in May the spirits of the land revealed themselves to me in
the rocks, the trees and the clouds. It was as if Nature had suddenly come alive (or was it me?) and I could see these captivating characters everywhere!
Since then I have photographed many of their fabulous faces...and a few feet!
I like to think that this personification of the wild world will remind us to take better care of Mother Nature.
